A few weeks ago, I started a project to help Beehive Federal Credit Union improve their website. They are a small, growing credit union based in Rexburg, Idaho and they hope to increase the amount of services used among their existing members. I plan on helping them do this by improving the interactions members have with the website through captivating design, effective copy, and efficient flow.
Within these last two weeks, I spent time researching their existing site, reviewing their analytics from the last year, and finding areas of the website where practices are not up to date with Beehive’s current marketing objectives.
My main focus so far has been their home page. This is, by far, their most visited page, and my goal was to make sure it is leading visitors to the information they need and providing them with opportunities for further interaction with the site. I was able to review it in detail and find areas where improvements could be made.
Within the coming weeks, I’ll be able to suggest these improvements and monitor whether or not they lead to increased interactions and conversions.
